Return & Cancellation Policy

At Amara by Anu Scaria, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Every piece is made with care and attention to detail. However, if you happen to receive an incorrect or defective product, we are here to assist you.

This Return & Cancellation Policy explains the process, conditions, and timelines for returns, exchanges, and cancellations.

1. Returns & Exchanges

1.1 We accept returns or exchanges only in the case of:

  • A damaged or defective item,
  • A wrong product delivered, or
  • A manufacturing defect.

1.2 Customers must notify us of any issue within 48 hours of receiving the order by sending:

  • The order number,
  • A clear description of the issue, and
  • Photographs or videos clearly showing the defect or incorrect product.

1.3 All returned products must be:

  • Unworn, unused, and unwashed,
  • In their original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories intact, and
  • Accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.

1.4 Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if:

  • The item has been used, altered, or damaged after delivery;
  • The return request is raised after 48 hours of delivery; or
  • The product is part of the non-returnable category listed below.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain categories of products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable due to their personalized or final-sale nature. These include:

  • Custom-made or bespoke outfits,
  • Altered or tailored garments,
  • Pre-order or made-to-measure designs, and
  • Sale or discounted items.

We request customers to review the product details and size guide carefully before placing an order for such items.

3. Return & Exchange Process

3.1 Once your return request is received, our team will review it and confirm eligibility within 2–3 business days.

3.2 If approved, we will provide you with the return shipping instructions. You may be required to self-ship the product to our address or schedule a pickup, depending on your location.

3.3 Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you regarding the status of your return or exchange.

3.4 If your request is approved, we will either:

  • Ship a replacement product (in case of exchange), or
  • Initiate a refund as per the refund policy below.

4. Refunds

4.1 Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

4.2 Refunds will be made to the original method of payment used at checkout.

4.3 Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.

4.4 In cases where an order was placed with partial payments or coupons, the refund will be adjusted accordingly.

5. Cancellations

5.1 Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement, provided they have not yet been processed or dispatched.

5.2 Once an order has been confirmed and moved into processing (especially for custom-made or pre-order items), it cannot be cancelled.

5.3 To request a cancellation, please contact us at anuskaria99@gmail.com with your order number and reason for cancellation.

5.4 Approved cancellations will be refunded within 7–10 business days following confirmation.

6. Damaged or Lost Packages

6.1 If a package is damaged during transit, please refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.
6.2 If a package is lost by the courier, we will work with the shipping partner to resolve the issue or offer a suitable solution.
